Douglas Ruas travels through the capital and Baixada region in a series of meetings with local leaders.

Pre-candidate for governor participated in meetings with political, community, and religious leaders in Del Castilho, Bangu, and Duque de Caxias.

State deputy and pre-candidate for Governor of the State, Douglas Ruas (PL), fulfilled a series of commitments this Saturday (9) in the capital and in Baixada Fluminense. The agenda included meetings with political leaders, representatives of civil society and participation in a religious event.

“Traveling throughout the state and maintaining this direct contact with people is fundamental to understanding the real needs of each region. This is what guides our work and allows us to build paths that are closer to the reality of those who live here. Today was a day of much dialogue, listening, and presence in different locations,” he stated.

The program began in Del Castilho, in the North Zone, where Ruas participated in a meeting with representatives of civil society and leaders from different municipalities to discuss regional issues. The meeting was attended by the pre-candidate for federal deputy, Renato Araújo.

Then, in Bangu, in the West Zone, the parliamentarian participated in an event celebrating Mother's Day alongside residents and local leaders. State deputies Jorge Felippe Neto and Anderson Moraes were present, as well as pre-candidate for the Senate, Márcio Canella.

In the afternoon, Douglas Ruas participated in a lunch with community leaders and residents, in a meeting focused on discussing community demands and presenting requests. Also present were Jorge Felippe Neto, the pre-candidate for state representative Felipe Pampolha, and Márcio Canella.

Ending his day in Duque de Caxias, the parliamentarian participated in the 6th Ordinary General Assembly of Cemaderj, where he attended debates and spoke with religious leaders.
