On Sunday's episode of Jogo do Poder, the super-secretary Chief of Staff, André Moura, reveals details of how he intends to reconnect Guanabara Palace with the Rio de Janeiro State Legislative Assembly. Like a true Wilson Witzel prime minister, Moura states that he is focused on restoring management and governance conditions, weakened after his departure from the government two months ago. He believes that through this somewhat indirect approach, the governor will regain credibility with society and support in parliament.

The institutional discourse is mixed with a more pragmatic approach. Without naming names, the secretary admits that he has received a good number of representatives in his office, with whom he discusses building a government of conciliation with the political class. Furthermore, he announces that he has already requested an institutional meeting with the President of the Assembly, André Ceciliano.

During the program, Moura absolves Governor Wilson Witzel of any responsibility for the allegations of fraud and corruption. He claims that it would be impossible, in a government of Rio's size, for the governor to personally control all contracts and purchases. Indirectly, the Chief of Staff reveals dissatisfaction with the actions of the formerly all-powerful Lucas Tristão, the arrogant former Secretary of Economic Development, who on the one hand confronted the Rio de Janeiro State Legislative Assembly (Alerj) with bravado and threats and on the other, mingled in a compromising manner with the government's largest supplier, businessman Mário Peixoto, now imprisoned in Bangu 8.

The Power Game will air next Sunday at midnight.
