The Public Prosecutor's Office has filed another civil lawsuit for administrative misconduct against the mayor of Armação dos Búzios, André Granado. This time, the lawsuit concerns illegalities in the purchase of basic food baskets to serve the population affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. Several irregularities were identified, the main one being an overcharge of R$1.080.572,87 for the baskets. Granado has already been removed from office 10 times for these irregularities, returning to office through legal appeals. Apparently, he is attempting his 11th impeachment.
