A serious accident involving a truck left one person dead and another seriously injured in the early hours of Wednesday (3) at km 309 of BR-101, near São Gonçalo, in the Metropolitan Region.
According to information from the Federal Highway Police (PRF), a truck ran over people who were at a bus stop on the side of the highway, around 4 am. A woman, not yet identified, died at the scene and a man was taken to the Azevedo Lima State Hospital (Heal), in Niterói. At the moment, there is no information about the victim's health status.
Emergency response teams from the Federal Highway Police (PRF) were dispatched to the scene. There is still no information about the circumstances of the accident.
