The dean of the Supreme Federal Court, Minister Celso de Mello, decided to go after the Bolsonaro clan and requested the president's testimony, as well as the search and seizure of his cell phone and that of his son, Carlos Bolsonaro, for forensic analysis. In dispatches sent this Thursday (21) to the PGR, the minister emphasized that it is the State's legal duty to promote the investigation of "the authorship and materiality of the criminal acts narrated by 'any person of the people'."
“The unavailability of the State's investigative intention therefore prevents the competent public bodies from ignoring what is pointed out in the 'notitia criminis', which is why it becomes essential to investigate the reported facts, regardless of who the people allegedly involved may be, even if it involves someone invested with authority in the hierarchy of the Republic, regardless of the Power (Legislative, Executive or Judiciary) to which such agent is linked”, wrote the STF minister.
