In São Gonçalo, queues and crowds put an end to social isolation

With a population of one million, the residents of São Gonçalo appear to have disregarded social distancing; they act as if nothing were happening, lining up at banks and supermarkets. The situation is alarming, given the disregard for social distancing rules required at this time of exponential growth in the virus. A video posted today on social media shows a completely out-of-control situation in Alcântara, the city's most populous neighborhood. The incident took place this Thursday morning (April 30th).
