The new operation expands Galeão's network and opens a direct link between the Rio de Janeiro terminal and one of the main cities in the Triângulo Mineiro region. The expectation is to serve both business travelers and those traveling for leisure and personal appointments.

“The new route connecting Uberlândia, an important economic and industrial hub in the interior of Brazil, to this important GOL hub, gives customers in the region a new connection option to our network,” said GOL's Executive Planning Manager, Bruno Balan.

Uberlândia is one of the main economic and logistical hubs in the interior of the country. With the new route, the city now has a non-stop alternative to Galeão International Airport, expanding travel options between the Triângulo Mineiro region and the capital of Rio de Janeiro.
