In the information and counterinformation war surrounding the suspected espionage of state representatives, allegedly led by Secretary Lucas Tristão, a list of nine police officers emerged this week whose involvement in the illegal operation is questionable. Today, Guilherme Amado of Época magazine reveals the names of the agents and the decision by Alerj president Andre Ceciliano to formally request information from Guanabara Palace regarding the employment of two Federal Police officers and six military police officers.

Read the note:

Amid suspicions that the Wilson Witzel administration is wiretapping opponents in the Rio Assembly, a request for information sent yesterday by the Assembly's president, André Ceciliano, to the state government promises to send shockwaves through the halls of Guanabara Palace.
The target is Witzel's Chief of Staff, André Moura, a former federal deputy and former partner of Eduardo Cunha in the Chamber.
Ceciliano requests in the text that Moura inform the number of six military police officers and two Federal Police delegates, as well as describe the activities and functions performed by each of them.
Two weeks ago, Ceciliano officially requested information from Witzel about the alleged existence of an illegal wiretapping center in the Rio de Janeiro government targeting his political opponents.
The Assembly president also asked whether the government stores personal data on public officials and their families. In other words, he asked whether the Executive branch spies on the Legislature.
Here are the police officers mentioned by Ceciliano in the letter sent yesterday: Colonel Jorge Fernando de Oliveira Pimenta; Major Luiz Felipe Furtado de Oliveira; Sergeant Otávio Montenegro; Corporal Glauco da Conceição Silva; Sergeant Jeferson Cândido de Oliveira and Lieutenant Colonel Carlos Magno, in addition to federal delegates Fábio Andrade and Wagner Mendes Bezerra de Menezes.
