This week's Crusoé magazine reveals that the investigation against Governor Wilson Witzel was fueled by a dossier sent from the Planalto Palace to the Attorney General of the Republic, Augusto Aras. According to the magazine, the action against the governor was largely inspired by the list of allegations compiled by the Planalto Palace and submitted to the Attorney General's Office.

"A person very close to Jair Bolsonaro sent Augusto Aras pieces of the dossier that tied together the links between Wilson Witzel's administration and Iabas, the social organization that, weeks later, would become a key player in the investigation into the Rio governor. As Crusoé showed, the investigation requested by the Attorney General's Office began shortly after a statement pointing to suspicions about Witzel arrived at the Planalto Palace and indicated that, by pulling the Iabas thread, authorities could stumble upon other political rivals of the president.
