Judge Bruno Monteiro Rulière will be responsible for coordinating the monitoring of electoral propaganda throughout the state of Rio de Janeiro in this year's elections. This measure places him in charge of controlling the campaigns and supervising monitoring actions during the electoral period.
The appointment was published this Tuesday (5) in the Electronic Official Gazette of the Regional Electoral Court of Rio de Janeiro (TRE-RJ). The act of the president of the TRE-RJ, judge Claudio de Mello Tavares, formalizes the choice of the magistrate to lead the supervision of the propaganda broadcast in traditional media throughout the state of Rio de Janeiro.
With this decision, Bruno Rulière will now oversee the Electoral Propaganda Monitoring Unit (NFPE), the structure responsible for monitoring and investigating any irregularities in campaigns. The work involves monitoring content, analyzing complaints, and acting to ensure compliance with electoral rules.
The judge will have the support of magistrate Marcello Rubioli, who has been appointed to assist in the activities of the unit, without neglecting his regular duties.
Bruno Monteiro Rulière has been a member of the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice's judiciary since 2013, when he took office after passing the 44th competitive examination for career judges. In the Electoral Court, he serves as an auxiliary judge to the president of the TRE-RJ (Regional Electoral Court of Rio de Janeiro).
