Federal Deputy Glauber Braga (PSOL-RJ) slammed former Justice Minister Sérgio Moro after the Supreme Federal Court granted Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's defense the right to access the accounting systems used by Odebrecht and ruled that former Minister Antonio Palocci's plea bargain cannot be used against the former president. Justice Ricardo Lewandowski also stated that, as a judge in Operation Car Wash, Moro "violated the adversarial system, as well as the constitutional guarantees of adversarial proceedings and full defense."
"Let me get this straight... The Supreme Federal Court invalidated the plea bargain Moro used during the campaign because it considered it to be a politically motivated electoral exercise? Is that it? So, now the Supreme Federal Court has embraced the theory that Moro was a thieving judge and just used some more elaborate expressions? Excuse me: THIEF JUDGE!" the congressman wrote on Twitter.
