Protesters from left-wing collectives of the "Fora Bolsonaro" movement are currently gathered in front of the 12th Police Precinct in Copacabana, protesting the detention of an activist during a demonstration held earlier on Avenida Atlântica. Using a megaphone, the activist reportedly criticized the Military Police's brutality in community operations. According to organizers, a Military Police officer responded by arresting the activist for contempt of court. Carrying banners and posters against Witzel and Bolsonaro, activists linked to the PCO (Workers' Cause Party) shouted slogans at the police station's entrance, partially blocking traffic on Avenida Barata Ribeiro.
