A resident of Vila Aliança, in the West Zone of Rio, survived after being stabbed ten times inside her home on Monday morning (4). Clara Luzia da Silva, 27, points to her ex-partner as the perpetrator of the attack and says that he did not accept the end of the relationship.
According to the investigation, the crime occurred around 6 a.m. Clara was sleeping next to her children when she woke up to find the suspect in the room, holding a knife and threatening the family.
The mother tried to intervene.
During the attack, the victim's mother tried to intervene to protect her, but she was also injured with knife blows. After the attack, neighbors provided assistance and took Clara to the Albert Schweitzer Municipal Hospital in Realengo.
She received medical attention, was discharged, and is recovering from her injuries. Her mother was also treated, and both underwent forensic medical examinations.
The case is being investigated by the 34th DP (Bangu), which is looking into the circumstances of the crime and searching for the suspect.
