Actor Pedro Cardoso surprised fans by reappearing, this Tuesday (5), characterized as Agostinho Carrara, one of the most memorable characters on Brazilian TV. The return of the iconic costume rekindled the public's nostalgia more than a decade after the end of the series. The big family, closed in 2014.
The characterization is part of a new advertising campaign for a graphic design and visual communication platform, for which the actor was hired. In the campaign, he also playfully imagines what the character's life would be like today.
Life in Portugal
At 63 years old, Pedro Cardoso lives in Cascais, Portugal, with actress Graziella Moretto, whom he married in 2007. The couple has an 18-year-old daughter, Mabel. Since leaving Brazilian television, the actor has dedicated himself to theater and local productions in Europe.
He is currently on tour with the play. The newborn, with performances in cities such as Lisbon, Braga, Barcelona and Porto. On social media, he maintains an active presence, posting humorous content and commentary on current topics.
Pedro also keeps in touch with some of the series' cast, although he no longer follows actress Guta Stresser, who played Bebel, after a disagreement that occurred during the show's run.
