Mayor of Angra delivers project to Flávio Bolsonaro to make Tamoios Station more flexible

Senator Flávio Bolsonaro commissioned Angra dos Reis Mayor Fernando Jordão to draft a draft plan to relax the Tamoios Ecological Station. This weekend, Jordão presented the senator with the general outline of the proposal, which will be converted into a bill in the coming days. The study, prepared by technicians from the Angra dos Reis environmental department, envisions the practice of water sports and fishing in certain areas of the bay, aiming to stimulate tourism in the region. Another substantial change proposed is the partial transfer of regulatory authority to the municipalities of the Costa Verde.

"With the economic crisis caused by the pandemic, industries and shipyards have closed; tourism has become our salvation. And this requires change. No one will allow the construction of skyscrapers in the region; we'll simply loosen the restrictions so tourism can thrive. For example, the Villa Galé Resort, the city's largest contributor to ISS (Service Tax), can't build a pier to take its guests on tours of the bay. Current legislation doesn't allow it. We just want to correct the excesses," clarified Fernando Jordão.
