Rio has 5,8 job and internship openings at the beginning of May.

Opportunities are available at all levels and include positions for people with disabilities, apprentices, and students in various regions of the state.

The state of Rio de Janeiro begins the month of May with 5.815 job openings for formal employment, internships, and apprenticeship programs. The opportunities are offered by state and municipal agencies, as well as institutions such as the Center for Business-School Integration (CIEE) and the Mudes Foundation, catering to candidates with varying levels of education.

The State Secretariat of Labor and Income (Setrab) is concentrating 1.583 job openings with formal employment contracts. In the Metropolitan Region, salaries can reach up to four minimum wages (R$ 6.484). There are opportunities for positions such as construction foreman, plumber, cook, and water truck driver. Of the total, 89 vacancies are exclusively for people with disabilities, with remuneration between one and two minimum wages.

To apply, interested parties must go to a Sine unit with personal documents, work permit, and social security number.

Applications online or in person

The Rio de Janeiro City Hall has 2.710 job openings in its job bank. Among the available opportunities are positions such as truck driver, cook, and butcher. For those without experience, there are openings for pharmacists and fast-food attendants. People with disabilities have 389 reserved positions, including roles such as attendant, general helper, and store clerk.

Applications can be submitted online or in person at service points located throughout the city.

For students, CIEE offers 1.415 internship and apprenticeship positions, aimed at high school, technical school, and university students. The opportunities are distributed across various cities in the state, such as Niterói, Duque de Caxias, Nova Iguaçu, and Petrópolis.

Mudes Foundation

The Mudes Foundation, in turn, offers 107 internship positions. The areas with the highest number of opportunities in higher education are Administration, Accounting Sciences, and Economics, with stipends that can reach R$ 2.

These initiatives reinforce the scenario of job openings in the state, focusing on inclusion and expanding opportunities for different professional profiles.
